A rustic take on the traditional Seljuk tile design, which dates back to the 11th century. Can be used decoratively on any surface or walls, as well as practically to protect surfaces.

The Seljuks originated from the Central Asian Turkic Oğuz tribe and ruled in Turkey between 1060-1307. It was the Great Seljuks who created the first çini (handmade glazed ceramics) masterpieces in Iran.

The Anatolian Seljuks ceramic tile art was inspired by both Shamanism and Islamic Sufism. These influences often infused human and animal forms, occasionally adding a surreal layer to the works. Some of these works can now be seen in museums.

Material: Ceramic
Measures: Di 18cm
Notes: Could be used on the walls but doesn’t come with hanging parts
